Soil Test Boxes
Is your lawn, vegetable or flower garden, or farm crop not growing as well as you think it should? Have your soil tested by the Michigan State University soil laboratory. Based upon what you want to grow, you will receive an analysis of current soil nutrient levels, and a fertilizer and lime recommendation. Results are returned to you by mail, after review by an MSU Extension agricultural or horticultural agent. Each box holds about 1 pint of soil (or a small sandwich-size zip lock bag). Sampling instructions included with box. A separate test box should be used for each use or area a test is desired for (i.e. vegetable garden, flower garden, lawn, trees, or farm field up to 10 acres).
