The Washtenaw County Conservation District and partners are pleased to announce that the Ottawa-Stony North Watershed Management Plan has been approved by Michigan’s Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
This plan has been four years in the making, and we are happy to share it with all of you! January 16th, 5:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Cobblestone Farm, 2781 Packard St, Ann Arbor, MI Join us in commemorating another year of service to our community at the Washtenaw County Conservation District's 77th Annual Celebration, held at Cobblestone Farm in Ann Arbor, MI. Attendees will enjoy a delicious farm-to-table dinner provided by Harvest Kitchen, along with a keynote presentation by Bridget O'Brien of Gateway Farm, focusing on the connection between a permaculture mindset and conservation. Tickets: $20 per person, which includes your meal. The Washtenaw County Conservation District sells rain barrels, composters, and related supplies for water catchment systems and composting systems. These practices conserve rainwater and prevent runoff, and composting practices reduce food waste.
