Herbicide Application Tool Rentals:
The WCCD Herbicide Application Tools is part of the Tool & Equipment Lending Library in collaboration with the JLW CISMA. The program is designed to make various tools and implements accessible to local producers and landowners. Tools in the rental program are designed for treating invasive and noxious plant materials according to the contract.
To Reserve Herbicide Application Tools:
Pick-up & Drop-off of Herbicide Tools: To accommodate back-to-back reservations, tools must be picked up in the afternoon (1 pm - 4 pm) on the start date, and dropped off in the morning (9 am - 12 pm) on end date. Reservations must start/end when our office is open, no weekends or federal holidays. The tools will be available at the Washtenaw County Conservation District office: 705 N. Zeeb Rd. The JLW CISMA goals are to prevent, detect, eradicate and control invasive species in the area, create a strategic plan for reducing the threat of invasive species and to provide outreach and educational opportunities for local citizens and stakeholder groups .

The injector is used for treating Japanese, Bohemian, giant knotweeds, invasive phragmites. Rental is free with a $50 refundable deposit is required at pick up.
