Carl Burhop, Burhop Forestry Consulting
Burhop Forestry Consulting is a privately owned forestry consulting firm that assists privately landowners with forestry management. Carl has a B.S in Forestry & Natural Resource's and is a Registered Forester in the State of Michigan. Working as an agent for the landowner, Carl provides the following services based on the landowner's goals: writing Forest Management Plan's, Timber Sale Preparation & Administration, Timber appraisal's, and Timber basis. Jacqueline Courteau, NatureWrite, LLC.
Jacqueline Courteau is President and Senior Ecologist of NatureWrite, LLC. She earned her M.S. and Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Michigan. She has monitored and assessed deer impacts in 20+ parks and natural areas in southeast Michigan, which continues to be her focus. She has also worked with the Huron River Watershed Council to develop their rapid ecological assessment; taught at U-M and EMU, including restoration ecology and field ecology; written plant species overviews for the Smithsonian Encyclopedia of life; contracted for Michigan Natural Features Inventory; and is working with private land-owners to develop forest stewardship plans. Jason graduated from MSU Forestry in 2008, is a Registered Forester in the State of MI, and has worked for a large private forestry consultant in the UP along with various government agencies such as the US Forest Service, and Michigan DNR. Darling Forestry, LLC was established in 2013 to provide sustainable forestry consulting and land management to landowners throughout southern Michigan. |
