Conservation Resource Distributions
For over 38 years the Washtenaw County Conservation District (WCCD) has been assisting Washtenaw landowners with reducing soil erosion, creating windbreaks, increasing wildlife habitat, and re-foresting land through our annual conservation resource distributions. The WCCD selects a variety of mostly native tree, shrub and plant species to offer through the Spring Tree & Shrub Sale, Native Plant Expo & Marketplace and Fall Tree Sale. Through our sales we offer discounted bulk rates and educational resources to ensure success!
The WCCD also partners with Harrietta Hills Trout Farm to offer a variety of fish species for ponds on our annual Fish Stock days.
Annual Sale dates:
April: Tree & Shrub Sale
June: Native Plant Expo & Marketplace
