• These events provide a platform for farmers to share information about conservation practices and programs that protect our water resources.

 

• Registration is free to farmers and partners of Agriculture who farm in the Western Lake Erie Watershed Basin.

 

• Registration is required for all events.  Confirmation and event details will be provided following registration.

 
Western Lake Erie Basin MAEAP and Conservation Practice Conferences
The conferences at the Stone Lab in the Lake Erie Islands provide an in-depth look at the science behind the harmful algae blooms, including a tour of the Stone Lab water quality lab, aquatic resources center and a cruise where you can help throw a trawl net while on a science bio lab vessel.

Tall Ship Sail Workshops 
Help hoist the mighty sails of the 85-foot wooden schooner "Appledore" while learning more about conservation practices to enhance water quality.  The workshops include a tour of the National Museum of the Great Lakes.
