Native Plant Expo & Marketplace
The Washtenaw County Native Plant Expo & Marketplace offers landowners one convenient location to shop for Michigan native plants from several Michigan native plant growers, learn how to establish and maintain native landscapes, and connect with companies specializing in planning and native landscapes.
Previous vendors have included: native plant nurseries, watershed councils, conservation services/contractors, local conservation clubs, and more. Apply to join the event on June 4th, 2022. The event will be inside the sheds at the Chelsea Community Fairgrounds. Vendors are required to bring all necessary supplies, tables and chairs can be requested on the application. The details are outlined in the Vendor Application and Rules & Regulations. WCCD Native Plant preorder pick-up: The pre-orders managed through the WCCD online store, will be held on in another shed during the event. Vendors are encouraged to organize their own pre-sales if desired. Native Plant Expo & Marketplace Sponsorship: Vendors and partnering organizations are invited to sponsor the event, and will receive marketing benefits based on the sponsorship level. Applications and payment must be submitted by email or mail / drop off to the WCCD office at: Suite #201 at 705 N. Zeeb Rd. Ann Arbor, MI, 48103 Or email to: [email protected] Vendor Fees: The vendor application outlines the vendor fees based on vendor space, tables, and sponsorships. The vendor fees are set to keep the event accessible and cover the costs of the venue facilities. Vendors are not required to provide sponsorships, but additional support for the event is welcome! Checks can be made out to: Washtenaw County Conservation District Vendor application deadline extended to: April 8th, 2022 The sooner we receive the Vendor application (and possibly sponsorship) the sooner we will include your organization on our website and in other outreach efforts in our Vendors list. Late applications will be considered if we have space at that time. Rules and Regulations: All Vendors must read, agree to, and adhere to the stated rules and regulations below, updated for 2022. Vendors are required to fill out a post-event Vendor survey, including tracking interactions and sales. COVID-19 Health Orders:
(will be updated as necessary for June 2022) All Vendors must comply with the local and state health orders regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. We strongly encourage any Vendors selling goods to facilitate pre-sales in advance to reduce sales exchanges and customer interactions. These guidelines are subject to change. |
